The MSI Gaming App allows the MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Gaming X 2G to switch over to "OC" mode. The OC mode raises the base clock to 1.442 MHz and the boost clock to 1.556 MHz. A third mode is also available, "Silent" mode. The 2 GB VRAM is connected to the GPU via a 128-bit interface and is clocked at an effective 7.008 MHz in "Gaming Mode" and 7.108 MHz in "OC" mode.
